Overview
Lunar Lizard is growing rapidly, and we are looking for an inspiring leader to keep our development process clean, transparent, and well organized as we scale. As a Project Manager, you will bring structure and momentum to a multidisciplinary team of artists, animators, engineers, and ML specialists — building processes that help people do their best work instead of slowing them down. You will be the calm center of production: planning ahead, removing blockers, and making sure everyone knows what matters most and why.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and run cross-discipline production across art, animation, engineering, ML, and pipeline teams
- Design, introduce, and evolve lightweight, scalable processes — sprints, rituals, documentation standards, and definitions of done
- Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and team capacity, and act early when things start to drift
- Keep the development process clean and transparent: clear boards, up-to-date plans, and visible progress for everyone
- Onboard new hires into our workflows and tools as the team grows, making sure they become productive quickly
- Facilitate stand-ups, planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives that are focused, useful, and energizing
- Work closely with the Product Owner to align the roadmap with realistic delivery plans
- Report project status, risks, and resource needs clearly to studio leadership
- Foster a healthy, motivated team culture built on trust, ownership, and sustainable pace
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project management or production, with at least 2 years in games or real-time 3D
- Proven track record of scaling teams and processes in a fast-growing environment
- Strong hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban (PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification is a plus)
- Expert use of Jira, Confluence, or similar project management and documentation tools
- Solid understanding of art, animation, and engineering pipelines and how they depend on each other
- Experience managing risk, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation across multiple workstreams
- Fluent English for clear communication with cross-functional, international teams
