The human looks staggering. He looks incredibly, undeniably real.
And yet, there’s still a microscopic hesitation when he blinks. A micro-expression that fires just a few milliseconds too late. We are sitting at the absolute precipice of the Uncanny Valley, our toes hanging over the edge. We haven’t completely crossed it yet.
But we are going to. And honestly? I am equally terrified and thrilled.
